Inspection, pressure test, hose and nozzle replacement — so the reel runs out and shuts off when it must.

A hose reel that has not been run out in a year may not turn, may leak at the swivel, or may have a nozzle that no longer shuts. We run every reel out, test it under pressure and put it back ready.

What we check

  • Drum and swivel

    Free rotation, leaks at the inlet swivel, bracket fixings.

  • Hose

    Cracks, bulges and kinks along the full length; replaced in 30 m lengths when needed.

  • Nozzle and valve

    Shut-off nozzle operates, isolating valve opens fully, flow and pressure within range.

  • Signage and access

    Reel is marked, unobstructed and reachable.
